- Who We Are | First Choice DDS
Home | Who We Are Who We Are First Choice DDS is a prospect agency provider led by a team of passionate individuals who are striving to make a difference in the way that individuals with disabilities are treated and cared for. With connection being our driving force, we take a hands on approach when sourcing and matching our shared living providers for our clients unique needs. We have a deep commitment to our clients, and are very selective in working with providers that are just as committed to providing the highest quality of care. Our team understands that each of our clients has a unique set of needs, dreams, and goals, and is very intentional with every interaction to help them realize the best version of themselves. It's what makes us tick :) Our History First Choice DDS was founded in 2021 with people-first philosophy. Our company operates on the foundation that individuals with developmental disabilities must have the same rights and standing in the community as persons without such disabilities. Based on a system of individual needs matching, First Choice DDS presents a different model of residential care and shared living experiences not found elsewhere in the Omaha metro area. The idea for this agency came when our team saw gaps in other companies that they worked for in the past, including how the clients suffer due to poor decisions made by other agencies. First Choice was developed into a company that really was family oriented and practiced putting the client’s family first and making sure that nothing was overlooked. It is important to us that we are always putting the client’s needs first and being a positive advocate to the individuals that will be in the First-Choice family. Our Mission to provide the best in supportive living arrangements that are comfortable, safe, and promote a sense of family to our clients. We believe that our clients are entitled to a higher quality of living by being treated with dignity and respect and matched with First Choice DDSs who understand the client needs and wants of our clients. Our Vision to achieve Fortune 500 status as one of the country’s leading shared living First Choice DDSs focused on core values of dignity, respect, safety, and family for our clients. Organizational Values First Choice DDS supports the following organizational values for its employee, customers, clients, First Choice DDSs, and partners: 1) To act with honesty and integrity in all that we do, treating others with dignity and respect no matter their status in the community or the organization; 2) To provide superior services to our clients, focusing on the client needs of our clients and matching those client needs with First Choice DDSs who have skills and interests in meeting the needs of our clients; 3) To value our employees and ensure a work environment that highlights employees skills and abilities and the need and desire to achieve success; 4) To be a good corporate citizen that pays attention to promoting a safe and environmentally secure world; 5) To earn the respect and admiration of the shared living industry.
